Mamelodi Sundowns star Nuno Santos says the club has put their poor run-in in the Betway Premiership title rsce behind, and they now focused on winning the second star for their fans.
The Brazilians endured a highly disruptive and costly run-in during the closing weeks of the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership season.

They dropped crucial points in their last domestic matches, putting their eight-year dominance at severe risk of ending. They finished their 30-game league campaign on 68 points. A heavy congested calendar saw them playing 7 matches in 21 days.
They drew with Stellenbosch, Richards Bay FC, Kaizer Chiefs, and lost to TS Galaxy FC.
On Sunday they host Moroccan club AS FAR Rabat at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium, in the first-leg of the 2025/2026 CAF Champions League final.
"We cannot change what happened before, so our focus is totally on the Champions League, that's what we can do to change whatever comes, so we got to focus on the final of the Champions League." Sa tos told the media on Thursday.
