Michael Olise has been voted best French player playing abroad after an impressive season for Bayern Munich.

Olise was rewarded ahead of prestigious competition made up of Rayan Cherki (Manchester City), Hugo Ekitike (Liverpool), Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) and William Saliba (Arsenal).

After a full season in Germany, Olise quickly established himself as one of the most decisive players in the Bavarian squad by being voted best passer in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, with a total of 22 goals and 28 assists.

A deserved trophy for the French international, who quickly established himself with the Blues.

Speaking after receiving the award Olise said (via French Football Weekly):”I am very grateful, I wanted to thank everyone at Bayern Munich, I can’t wait to give my all at the World Cup this summer, with the France team.”

Olise helped France reach the final of the football event at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where they lost to Spain.

He is expected to be part of the French squad that will feature at this year’s FIFA World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
