The three-time African champions will face Poland in Warsaw on June 3 before traveling to Leiria for a clash against Portugal on June 10 as preparations continue for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
The matches are expected to provide the coaching crew with an opportunity to test tactical systems and assess player combinations ahead of future competitive fixtures.
In a chat with Completesports.com, Ekpo stated that the two matches will bring the best out of the Super Eagles.
“I am excited that the Super Eagles will be playing Portugal and Poland in an international friendly. These high-profile games will bring out the best in some of the invited players.
“We have lots of quality players on both teams, and you can expect nothing but quality performance from Poland and Portugal when they face the Super Eagles.

“Again, seeing the list of invited players for the friendlies, I know we will see the best of the Super Eagles.”
Nigeria will take on Zimbabwe in the semi-final of the Unity Cup at Charlton Athletic’s The Valley on May 26.
The winner of the tie will advance to the final to face either Jamaica or India, who meet in the other semi-final.
Also, Nigeria, three-time African champions, were recently drawn alongside Madagascar, Tanzania and Guinea-Bissau in the qualifying race for the 2027 AFCON tournament.
