A victory would have seen Ghana advance to the knockout stages of the tournament for the first time since 2010. However, the draw sees them move to four points ahead of their final group game against Croatia.
With their World Cup campaign still going well, this was not the feeling around the side just a few months ago when the Ghana Football Association (GFA) sacked former head coach Otto Addo exactly 72 days before the tournament.
