Manu Koné is back to training with Roma and should start the final game of the season against Verona, but Lorenzo Pellegrini is still out of action.
It kicks off at the Stadio Bentegodi on Sunday at 19.45 UK time (20.45 CEST).
The Giallorossi know that a victory will be enough to guarantee qualification for the Champions League, as they go into the final round of the season in joint third place with Milan.
Midfielder Koné was not even fit for the bench in last week’s 1-0 Derby delle Capitale victory over Lazio, as he sustained a muscular issue in training.
However, Sky Sport Italia report the France international was back working with the squad today and should therefore be ready to start this weekend.
Wesley will certainly miss out, as he is suspended following the red card in that fiery clash, while Evan Ndicka sustained a muscular injury during the match and is also unlikely to feature.
Pellegrini had hoped for one final game this season, as his contract is running down, but it seems as if he won’t be fit enough to play against Verona.
