South African-born coach Selaotse Mosala’s future with Mbabane Highlanders AM in Eswatini remains uncertain with the club yet to offer him a new contract.
Mosala took on hero status when he guided Highlanders to a 1-0 win over Mbabane Swallows in the Mbabane Derby at the Somhlolo Stadium on Sunday. This was the first time in three years that they had beaten their sworn rivals.

This was also first time that the man simply known as ‘Sly’ had led the team to a victory over Swallows since Shauwn ‘MaMkhize’ Mkhize took over as club president this season.
Mosala has confirmed that his deal is nearing expiry and that he is still yet to discuss his future with the club.
“Yes, it’s true, my contract is coming to an end in June. At the moment, we haven’t discussed anything,” said Mosala, speaking to KickOff.
“I don’t mind staying with the club. The president, management, and the fans have treated me well since I returned back to the club.
“We are playing the last game this weekend. I am going home after that. I deserve a little bit of a break.
