Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Shaun Permall has shared with KickOff what he told Tashreeq Morris before his goal against Sekhukhune United on Sunday.
The forgotten striker scored his first goal in what was his first league match of the season. He has now played two games for Amakhosi in the current campaign, his other appearance was in the Carling Knockout.

Morris's contract with Amakhosi ends next month, and Permall admits chances of it being extended are very slim, citing with the limited game time the fellow Capetonian has, he is facing an uncertain future in Naturena.
After arriving from SuperSport United, Morris is struggling for game time at Chiefs. A failed loan move to Stellenbosch in January failed, leaving him on the fringes of the Amakhosi squad.
On Sunday the 31-year-old proved why he might still play a vital part at Chiefs after coming off the bench to score the first goal in the 0-2 win over Sekhukhune United.
"We've been chatting with Tashreeq a couple of months ago, he was in Cape Town for the game against Stellenbosch, I was sort of giving him a bit of guidance, I told him he must keep pushing," Permall tells KickOff.
"I'm glad he is actually doing what we discussed, and look now he has already scored, I think they should have given him more opportunities, Chiefs.

"It's hard to please the crowd at Kaizer Chiefs, I told him to train hard and work hard so that when your opportunity comes it finds you ready. Yes, the amount of games that he has played doesn't favour him in terms of getting his contract renewed, but I think he still has a lot to give experience-wise, especially for the younger boys at Chiefs.
“Maybe he should be given another year. He is a good striker, I have watched him all over the years," he adds.
