Sundowns advised on key strategy for 2nd leg
Ugandan-born football scout Paul Mujuni advises Premier Soccer League giants Mamelodi Sundowns to push for an early goal in their upcoming CAF Champions League final in Morocco.
Ugandan-born football scout Paul Mujuni advises Premier Soccer League giants Mamelodi Sundowns to push for an early goal in their upcoming CAF Champions League final in Morocco.
To win the Champions League final on Sunday, Sundowns must protect their 1-0 aggregate lead against AS FAR in Morocco.
Miguel Cardoso's side must maintain defensive compactness to handle the unexpected home pressure, capitalise on away transition opportunities, and overcome away travel disruptions.

Mujuni says that rather than parking the bus to defend the 1-0 lead, Sundowns must use their quick passing to exploit spaces left by a desperate Moroccan defense.
"Sundowns should go full force attacking from the first whistle. They should keep AS FAR defending in the first 15 minutes to control the pressure and look for an early goal," Mujuni tells KickOff.
"We all know the Moroccans will come out gun blazing in the first minutes. The only way to stop them is to attack them immediately. If possible, get an early goal and then control the game.

"However, as I highlighted in my previous interviews, Sundowns are not newcomers in this situation. They have Experienced players who can absorb the pressure.
"Coach Cardoso is a very calculative tactician. He studies a team and plans for it accordingly. He is a smart guy. As the tournament comes to an end, Sundowns is a very difficult opponent. I spoke about this as well in my last interviews. For me, Sundowns is coming with the trophy straight to Pretoria. They have been the best team in this CAF Champions League."
