
Sundowns Complete SV Ried's Biggest Transfer
SV Ried have confirmed that new Mamelodi Sundowns signing Antonio Van Wyk left the Austrian club for a record €1 million (R19 million) transfer fee, the biggest sale in the club's history.
Austrain top-flight side SV Ried revealed the price tag of around R20 million of Antonio Van Wyk, who recently completed a move to reigning Champions League titleholders Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Brazilians recently announced the arrival of the 24-year-old, who returns to South Africa after spending two seasons in Austria with SV Ried.
Van Wyk leaves Europe having made 53 competitive appearances for the Austrian club, including 30 outings in the country's top division.
During his time with SV Ried, he scored four goals and registered seven assists, establishing himself as a key figure in the squad before earning a move back to the Betway Premiership champions.
According to SV Ried, Van Wyk's transfer to Sundowns was completed for a fee of €1 million (approximately R19 million), making it the biggest sale in the club's history.
The Austrian side's Sporting Director, Wolfgang Fiala, hailed the transfer as a landmark moment for the club.
"The signing of Antonio Van Wyk is by far the record transfer in the history of SV Oberbank Ried," Fiala said via the club's official website.
"This demonstrates our development as a club, both on and off the pitch.
"I would like to thank Toni for his contributions. It was a pleasure for every coach, teammate, and certainly also for the fans, to watch him play."

Van Wyk now joins a star-studded Sundowns squad as the reigning African champions continue to strengthen ahead of another demanding campaign on the domestic and continental fronts.
