Mamelodi Sundowns legend Denis Onyango insists that the eight-time consecutive league champions will treat their last game of the season as a 'final', with Betway Premiership honours still up for grabs.

Miguel Cardoso's men take on TS Galaxy on Tuesday needing a win and goals by the bucket load with goal difference likely to be a factor in deciding the destiny of the title.

Onyango, though, insists they will have to focus on their own results.

"As senior players, we have to push the boys because every game counts for the club, regardless of how difficult it is," said the Ugandan, speaking to the club's media.

"We have to give our best. Every game is a final, and as we are looking forward to the Champions League final, we need to end the season on a high, regardless of what's happening around us in the league.

"We have to stay positive and believe it can be done. Of course, that's the thinking from the coaching staff and players in general. We can't take any game for granted.

"We have to give our best in every game and see how far we can go. We can't guarantee that the other people will win. We just have to stay focused and win our games," pledged Onyango.
