Relebohile Mofokeng insists Bafana Bafana are fully focused on extending their memorable run at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
South Africa reached the Round of 32 for the first time after a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Korea Republic at the Monterrey Stadium.
Substitute Tshepang Moremi set up Thapelo Maseko for the winning goal in the 63rd minute.
Mofokeng insisted that Bafana Bafana will give everything they have in their bid to progress as far as possible in the tournament.
“We will fight to go as far as possible,” the Orlando Pirates midfielder told FIFA.com.
“We truly believe in our ability to achieve this; we will trust in God and give everything we have to get where we want to be.”

South Africa endured a difficult start to their campaign, suffering a 2-0 defeat to co-hosts Mexico in the tournament opener.
Bafana Bafana responded with resilience, salvaging a crucial late draw against Czechia before producing their best performance yet with a hard-fought victory over Korea Republic.
Mofokeng explained how they transformed their group stage fortunes in the final round.
“International football is the pinnacle, and as a national team player, you have to evolve constantly,” added Mofokeng.
“Continuous improvement is essential, both as a player and as a person.
“You must learn from past mistakes to sharpen up for the next match; failing to do so only leads to defeat. We grew into the tournament game by game, and that is what matters most in football.”
South Africa will face Canada at the Los Angeles Stadium on 28 June in their Round of 32 match.
