Super Eagles stars were also part of the celebrations, with several Nigerian internationals playing key roles in their clubs’ successful campaigns and ending the season with silverware.

Iheanacho won the League and Cup double with Celtic. The talented striker overcame an injury-hit campaign, disrupted by recurring hamstring problems, to become a firm fan favourite at Paradise.

The 29-year-old registered nine goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Martin O’Neill’s side.

The former Manchester City and Leicester City forward also earned Celtic eight crucial points through match-winning contributions against Kilmarnock on his debut, as well as Dundee, Hibernian, and Motherwell.

The striker played a pivotal role in Galatasaray’s successful title defence, despite battling fitness concerns at different stages of the season.

Osimhen registered 15 goals and five assists in 22 Super Lig appearances, although he fell short of last season’s 26-goal tally.

The 27-year-old recorded 22 goals and seven assists across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds.

Onuachu was the hero of Trabzonspor’s Turkish Cup final triumph over Konyaspor, scoring twice in the Claret and Blues’ 2-1 victory.

It was Onuachu’s fifth trophy at club level. The forward won the Danish Superliga twice and the Danish Cup once during his time with FC Midtjylland.

The former Southampton star also won the Belgian Cup with KRC Genk during the 2020/21 season.

The centre-back played a crucial role in Trabzonspor’s Turkish Cup triumph after joining the Black Sea Storm from Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC in January.

The 22-year-old also enjoyed cup success during his stint with Wolfsberger AC, winning his first major silverware in Europe.

He also won the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title with Enyimba in the 2022/23 season before moving abroad.

Despite being tipped to leave FC Porto before the start of the 2025/26 season, Sanusi established himself as a regular under Francesco Farioli during the second half of the campaign.

It was the left-back’s second league title with Porto, having first tasted success with the club in the 2021/22 season.

Sanusi registered one goal and one assist in 17 league appearances for the Dragons during the season.

Onyedika won the Belgian Pro League title with Club Brugge for the second time. The defensive midfielder, who arrived at Jan Breydel Stadium from Danish club FC Midtjylland in 2020, scored one goal in 30 league outings.

The 25-year-old also played six matches in the UEFA Champions League, scoring twice and providing one assist.

The 27-year-old celebrated his first Cypriot First Division title with Omonia Nicosia this season, having joined the club from APOEL in 2021.

Uzoho had earlier won the Cypriot Cup twice with the Shamrock, lifting the trophy in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.

The goalkeeper struggled for regular game time in the league this season, making just five appearances and recording three clean sheets.
