AS FAR Rabat star Abdelfettah Hadraf said that the side's 41-year CAF Champions League trophy drought has only strengthened their resolve and determination to win as they prepare to take on Mamelodi Sundowns.
The first leg in Pretoria ended in a 1-0 victory for the South Africans, but it has not deterred the Moroccan outfit from trying to reclaim the tournament they last won in 1985.

With the second leg set to take place on Sunday, the midfielder highlighted the importance and historical significance of the encounter for the Rabat-based side.
"Forty-one years of waiting have only strengthened our resolve and determination to win this precious continental title and bring it back to the club's trophy cabinet," he said, per Le Matin.
"Finals aren't played, they're won," he added.
The 28-year-old also stressed the important role supporters will play in the second leg, which will further boost AS FAR's home advantage.
"The Royal Army fans are our 12th player; they are our driving force and our greatest motivation to give our all on the pitch to bring joy to the Royal Army family."
Meanwhile, midfielder Anas Bach emphasised that opportunities like these do not come around often, adding to the side's determination to turn the tie back in their favour.
"Preparations are going exceptionally well, and there is complete awareness of the magnitude of the challenge. Playing in a continental final is a dream for every player, a historic opportunity that doesn't come around often, and therefore, we are determined to make the most of it."
He added: "It's true that we are behind on aggregate, but the second and decisive half will be played on our home ground. The circumstances will be completely different, and we will give everything we have to keep the cup here in Rabat."
