Bafana Bafana's 2026 FIFA World Cup opponents Mexico continued their preparation for the tournament with a 2-0 win over Ghana on Friday night.
It was the first game in charge for Black Stars coach Carlos Queiroz, who was appointed head coach last month.

The Black Stars did not have all their regular stars available for the contest as the most of Europe's big league will concluded this weekend.
However, there were international senior debuts for Salim Adams, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi and Jan Gyamarah.
The encounter itself did not provide a lot of action as Brian Gutierrez put the Mexicans ahead in the eighth minute of the first.
After a flurry of changes in the second half, the Mexicans doubled their lead ten minutes after the break as Guillermo Martinez Ayala found the back of the net.
The Ghanaians have another friendly against Wales before their World Cup journey officially starts against Panama on 18 June.
Mexico, meanwhile, will face Australia and Serbia in warm-up matches before their clash against South Africa in the opening game of the tournament.
