'Blessed' Kobbie Mainoo grateful for first World Cup after making England squad, set to face Ghana

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has shared his excitement after making Thomas Tuchel's England squad for the 2026 World Cup in North America.The English-Ghanaian found his way back into the England team after strong second half to the season under now confirmed Man United boss Michael Carrick.Mainoo had spent most of the first half of the campaign watch the games from the bench after sacked manager Ruben Amorim failed to find a place for him the the team.However, Mainoo starred for United, helping them secure UEFA Champions League football next season, making it difficult for Tuchel to leave him out of the World Cup party."First World Cup, feeling Blessed and Grateful.
