Brahim Diaz World Cup could decide his future as Juventus and Inter circle Real Madrid star

Brahim Diaz’s World Cup performances with Morocco could prove decisive in determining his club future, with both Juventus and Inter Milan monitoring the situation closely as the Real Madrid attacker arrives in North America fresh off winning player of the tournament at the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Moroccan faces Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil in his opening fixture, a reunion with his former Real Madrid coach.

Brahim‘s own preference is clear: he wants to stay at the Bernabeu despite intense competition for places under incoming coach José Mourinho.

Real Madrid are expected to assess their attacking options only once Mastantuono’s loan exit is finalised, and a strong World Cup would significantly strengthen Brahim’s case to remain.

According to Repubblica, via CalcioMercato, Inter discussed five Real Madrid players beyond Nico Paz during a recent meeting between Beppe Marotta and Florentino Perez: Mastantuono, Endrick, Arda Guler, Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz.

Of the five, Brahim is considered the least attainable, with talks reportedly underway over a contract extension through to 2030.

Juventus, meanwhile, have already made their interest known. Spalletti is understood to be a huge admirer of Brahim and identified him as the ideal attacking midfielder to target this summer.

Contacts took place before Damien Comolli’s departure, though the player did not show any openness to a move. For now, any suitor will need Real Madrid to change their stance, potentially distracted by other talents on display across the 48-team tournament.
