Burnley manager Mike Jackson showered striker Zian Flemming with praise after the Dutchman found the back of the net in the Clarets' final match of the season, a game that Lyle Foster missed out on.
The side wrapped up their 2025/26 campaign with a 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the final day before returning to the EFL Championship next season.

Adam Armstrong handed Wolves an early advantage when he converted from the penalty spot in the fifth minute.
However, Flemming grabbed his 11th goal of the season to pull Burnley level shortly after the half-time break.
Speaking after the match, Jackson was full of praise for the 27-year-old and the season he has produced.
“It’s another great finish from Zian," Jackson said, per the club's official website.
“He’s had an outstanding season and took his goal really well. Eleven Premier League goals is a great achievement. Incredible really.
“He puts so much into everything he does - he’s fully deserving of the accolades," he added.
This comes after Foster was once again left out of the matchday squad against Wolves.
The South African was also absent from the squad that suffered a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last week, with reports suggesting the decision to leave the attacker out was purely tactical.
Flemming, meanwhile, admitted he was proud of his return this season despite missing seven league matches through injury, according to Transfermarkt.
“For me, this is my first season in the Premier League, being 27 years old. I don’t think anyone would have imagined me scoring that many goals, let alone 11 league goals.
“So, I’m very proud of that, I can say, despite the fact that we’re going down. Everyone understands that disappointment, but I wouldn’t have expected that myself."
He added: "Then throughout the season, I had a bit of a slow start with coming back from injury and having to wait on the sidelines, coming off the bench, or even staying on the bench.
"Then another small injury around December/January, so in that sense it wasn’t the greatest of seasons for me. But without having played all the games I would have liked to, I’ve still got a good return.”
