In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, Glyn Binkin, the agent of the 21-year-old midfielder, revealed that a move away from Stellenbosch this transfer window is highly likely.

“There is a lot of interest both locally and abroad in Langelihle (Phili), all of which we are currently assessing,” Binkin said. “He has only one year remaining on his contract with Stellenbosch, so I am pretty confident that he will transfer this upcoming window.”

Phili has been a standout performer for the Cape Winelands side, particularly over the last two seasons. After initially joining Stellies' reserves from AmaZulu FC’s youth setup, he earned promotion to the senior team under former coach Steve Barker.

Last season, Phili was instrumental in Stellenbosch’s campaign, featuring in 26 Betway Premiership matches and scoring seven goals. Across all competitions, he played 39 games, netting nine times, including goals in the prestigious CAF Confederation Cup.
