A source close to the club revealed to Soccer Laduma that Chiefs are hesitant to renew Solomons' contract, citing his inconsistent availability.

This season, Solomons has featured in just nine Betway Premiership League matches, with a total of 19 appearances across all competitions, including nine in the CAF Confederations Cup and one in the Carling Knockout.
