Kaizer Chiefs’ priorities have kept one of their wingbacks walking with doubts with his contract coming up for expiry at the end of June.
The decision-making systems at Kaizer Chiefs have kept Dillan Solomons waiting in matters relating to his future just two pay dates before his deal runs up.
Normally, when a contract is left so late at Chiefs, it suggests that the player concerned is floating in the non-priority zone.

That is where Solomons is standing now four years since arriving from Moroka Swallows.
Amakhosi have not taken the crucial first step forward to show interest-signalling intentions to extend.
This is why mention of the former Moroka Swallows man's name has been heard away from the Chiefs Village.
His dominant minutes this season have come in the CAF Confederation Cup.
From November to March, Solomons was involved in a see-saw line of starts with Thabiso Monyane, which stretched to 13 games.
Upon the conclusion of that one in-one out rotation, he then started another two before disappearing, with Monyane taking over.

The soon-to-be 30-year-old’s absence in the last nine games has come with his contract moving towards red alert.
Besides Solomons, the Soweto giants still have Monyane and Reeve Frosler at right-back, a position that Zitha Kwinika can also play.
