Antonio Conte has said farewell to Napoli supporters online as he leaves his position as head coach after two years, two trophies and two consecutive top four finishes: ‘Two winning years with lots of emotion and passion’.
Conte is leaving his position as head coach of Napoli after two seasons in charge and is set to be replaced by Massimiliano Allegri at the Stadio Maradona, the same progression of head coaches that Juventus went through in 2014.
Conte has said his goodbyes to Napoli supporters on social media with a brief message that reads: “Two winning years with lots of emotion and passion! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Conte won Napoli’s fourth ever Serie A title during his first season in charge in 2024-25 and backed that up with a second-place finish in 2025-26, a season in which Napoli also won the Supercoppa Italiana.
It remains to be seen where the 56-year-old will move next. He remains one of the main candidates to take over the vacant Italy national team head coach job and recent reports claim that there have been offers from both Turkiye and the Saudi Pro League.
