Danny Rohl faces a difficult battle if he is to convince Luke Graham to join Rangers this summer.

The Dundee defender has been heavily linked with a move to Ibrox for months, with plenty of other clubs also in the race.

On 27 May, it was revealed via Alan Nixon’s Patreon that Stoke City are now making a move for the 22-year-old.

It is said that Graham is keen on a move to England despite Rangers’ interest.

Therefore, Rohl must prove his worth and show the defender why a move to Rangers is a must.

Breaking news on latest signings, departures, and contract news from the Ibrox boardroom.

On paper, Rangers should have little trouble convincing Graham.

The Gers are set to play in Europe next season and should be winning at least one trophy.

In comparison, Stoke have been stuck in the bottom half of the Championship for almost a decade, and have rarely pushed for promotion.

Yet, Graham could now decide that this move is better for his career than transferring to Ibrox.

The defender has the ability to help end Rangers’ leaky backline, so Rohl must try to convince him to ditch the Championship for the Gers.

This is the manager’s first true transfer market test at Rangers, and it will go a long way to showcasing the pull he has.

If he fails to bring Graham in, it could be an indication that Rohl is not capable of convincing top players to work under him.

Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Rangers have stepped up their interest in Bobby Clark.

The Red Bull Salzburg midfielder spent the 2025-26 campaign on loan to Derby County, where he impressed.

After just missing out on the playoffs with the Rams, Salzburg are willing to let the 21-year-old go this summer transfer window for a price-cut fee.

Clark is seen as a player who has the potential to become a huge talent in the future, and a deal to bring him in could form part of a significant turnover in the playing squad at Ibrox.

However, it remains to be seen if Rangers are able to bring Clark in over the course of the transfer window.
