Sundowns and Pirates remain locked in a tight fight, with the former currently five points clear of the Soweto giants, who have two games left compared to the one remaining fixture for Miguel Cardoso's men.

The Brazilians will wrap up their campaign against TS Galaxy on Tuesday. If they secure victory, they will still have to wait on Bucs' remaining results to determine the outcome of the title race.

However, even if the Chloorkop-based side do clinch the championship, uncertainty remains over where celebrations would take place, as their final match will already have been played in Mbombela against the Rockets.

On the other hand, the men in Black and White still await confirmation of the venue for their final match against Orbit College, following the hosts' decision not to use Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
