
Eswatini's MTN Premier League club Tabankulu Celtics has expressed interest in a PSL striker nicknamed ‘Sniper’, although they face stiff competition for his signature from clubs in South Africa.
The club is currently managed by Humphrey Mlwane, who last season led The Bees FC from ABC Motsepe League football to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Batoze Bavume experienced success within Eswatini's regional league, dominating the Lubombo Super League as treble champions before securing promotion through the national play-offs in mid-2025.
They completed their debut season in the 2025/26 MTN Premier League. Despite competing in the top division as newcomers, they achieved mathematical safety from relegation in May, securing a mid-table position.
Siyabonga Mtombeni, a 24-year-old centre-forward, saw his contract with Upington City expire at the end of this past season, rendering him a highly sought-after free agent.
Several clubs in the second-tier league, including Gomora United, Casric Stars, University of Pretoria, and Highbury, have already made inquiries.

He has previously played for Baroka FC, TS Sporting, and Jomo Cosmos. Recently, he delivered an outstanding performance in the 2026 Nedbank Cup against Durban City FC, earning a Man of the Match award despite his team’s penalty shootout loss.
