Monaco are open to selling star striker Folarin Balogun to Everton this summer if they offer a sizeable fee for his services.
Balogun has emerged as one of the early leading stars of the World Cup after bagging a brace in the USA's 5-1 win against Paraguay.
The Arsenal academy graduate has emerged as Maurico Pochettino's starting striker after a strong campaign in Ligue 1 at Monaco.
Everton have been linked with a move for the 24-year-old over the last 12 months, and could reignite their interest this summer.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, Monaco will only sell Balogun to the Toffees if a sizeable bid is placed before the summer window closes.
David Moyes is looking to improve his striker options after Thierno Barry and Beto both endured tough seasons at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Balogun does not look set to be on the move imminently, after the USA progressed to the World Cup knockout stages, but could well end up on Merseyside later this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, a source close to David Moyes has backed him to move for Balogun this summer to solve Everton's centre-forward woes.
He registered 19 goals and four assists in 43 appearances across all competitions last season, and has previous experience of English football after coming through the ranks at Arsenal.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "Monaco want to keep hold of him and aren't entertaining letting him leave, but I think there'll be clubs in the Premier League, and probably overseas as well, who will be looking at Balogun as a potential reinforcement this summer.
"The Ligue 1 side will be demanding a huge offer for him to even consider selling him as well, as he's under contract for another two years."
Moyes' side severely lacked creativity across their forward line for large parts of last season, especially following Jack Grealish's serious foot injury.
Wilson was a standout for Fulham throughout 2025-26, and the Toffees have registered their interest in his services as he prepares to become a free agent this summer.
They are not the only club keen on his signature though, and sources have revealed to Football Insider that Leeds have offered Wilson a bumper long-term contract to persuade him to move to Elland Road.
Everton will have to move quickly and decisively in the coming days if they want to land Wilson, with one of their positional rivals potentially set to steal a march ahead of the new season.
