Everton are still weighing up whether to make Tyrique George's loan move from Chelsea permanent, with the Merseyside club yet to decide whether to activate their option to sign the forward for a fee believed to be around £25 million (approximately N46 billion).

According to The Daily Mail, David Moyes side have until later this month to determine whether to trigger the clause, but a final decision has not been made on the 20-year-old’s future.

Should Everton opt against exercising the option and fail to negotiate a lower fee with Chelsea, rival clubs are ready to explore a potential move for George.

The exact value of Everton's option has never been officially disclosed, but it is a flexible fee influenced by factors such as appearances during his loan spell and currently stands at around £25 million.

Chelsea previously agreed a £22m deal to sell George to Fulham last summer, but the transfer collapsed on deadline day.

George joined Everton in the winter transfer market and featured 11 times in the Premier League during the second half of the season.

However, he made just one start and ended the campaign without registering a goal or an assist.

George has a contract with Chelsea until June 30, 2027, with a club option for the 2027-2028 season.
