Milan have reportedly held talks with Fenerbahce sporting director Devin Ozek, but have three more candidates on their list, including Milan Futuro’s executive Jovan Kirovski.
Serie A giants Milan are still working to rebuild the club management after sacking Igli Tare, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
Ralf Rangnick, Austria’s coach, was the primary candidate for the technical director position. However, the German tactician insisted on having full control over the club’s project, including selecting the new coach and directors, and Milan were not prepared to grant him this level of authority.
According to Tuttosport, RedBird Advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic is backing the promotion of Jovan Kirovski from Milan Futuro to the first team’s sporting director.
Sky Sport and Gazzetta, on the other hand, claim that one of the main candidates for the sporting director role is Fenerbahce’s Devin Ozek, who has already met with Ibrahimovic and Gerry Cardinale twice.
According to Gazzetta, Ramon Planes, who has just left Al Ittihad, is another option for Milan, as is Markus Krösche of Eintracht Frankfurt.
As for the coaching role, Matthias Jaissle and Ruben Amorim have gained significant traction in recent days, while ex-Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner is still awaiting a final response from the Rossoneri after agreeing to a two-year contract.
