GFA Elite U15 championship draw maps route for Ghana’s next generation

The road to discovering Ghanas next generation of football talent has been mapped out after the official draw for the 2026 GFA Elite U15 Boys Championship was unveiled, setting the tone for an eagerly anticipated tournament scheduled to kick off on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.The competition, aligned with FIFAs Talent Development Scheme, will run until June 3 and will assemble promising young players from across the country in a high-stakes development environment.Group A features Ashanti Region, Eastern Region, Volta Region, Northern Region, Western Region, alongside Elite Academy sides from Achimota School and Bolgatanga.Group B includes Greater Accra Region, Central Region, Brong Ahafo Region, Upper West Region, Upper East Region, and Elite Academy representatives from Prempeh College.Organisers expect the championship to serve as a key scouting platform, offering coaches and talent evaluators a chance to assess emerging prospects.As the third edition approaches, attention will turn to which young players can seize the moment and stake claims for future national recognition on the national development pathway.
