Tuttosport reports that Inter are waiting for Liverpool to set their asking price for Curtis Jones, who is ‘sending signals’ to the Nerazzurri ahead of a possible summer transfer.
Liverpool midfielder Jones is among Inter’s summer targets, even if, according to Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, Roma’s Manu Koné remains the Nerazzurri’s preferred option in the middle of the park.
Tuttosport has reported that James is unwilling to sign a contract extension with the Reds, mostly due to a strained relationship with coach Arne Slot.
The Turin-based paper adds that Jones is very much open to a move to the Stadio Meazza over the summer, having already sent ‘signals’ to the Nerazzurri before the beginning of the summer transfer window on July 1, 2026.
Inter already targeted Jones during the 2026 January transfer window and remain interested in the player, having continued contacts with his entourage in recent months.
The Serie A champions are still waiting for Liverpool to set their asking price for the England international before deciding how to approach the Reds regarding a possible summer transfer.
