Mazraoui joins Morocco training as Ezzalzouli misses Brazil buildup

Morocco continued preparations for their World Cup opener against Brazil, with the Atlas Lions holding two training sessions as coach Mohamed Ouahbi fine-tunes his squad before Saturday’s Group C clash.

The first session took place in the gym and included all available players, including Noussair Mazraoui, whose fitness had raised concern after he left Morocco’s final friendly against Norway with a shoulder issue.

Abdessamad Ezzalzouli was absent as he continues to recover from an injury sustained in the same match, casting doubt over his availability for Morocco’s early World Cup fixtures.

The second session moved to the training pitch, where the technical staff worked on physical and tactical details while assessing the readiness of the squad before the tournament begins.

Morocco face Brazil on June 13 at New York/New Jersey Stadium, before meeting Scotland in their second group match and closing the first round against Haiti.
