Nigerian Afrobeats artist Folarin Odunlami, popularly known as Fola, visited Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge in London and sharing his tour experience.

The singer, via his official X handle, marked the moment with photos and video from the visit.

He wrote: “From peeping at viewing centers to invitations to the bridge.”

Fola wore a customized Chelsea jersey with the name “Striker” written on the back and the number 9, as he was treated to a behind-the-scenes experience of the Blues’ famous home.

The photographs capture Fola walking through the player’s tunnel, posing alongside the pitch, and exploring the club’s prestigious trophy room and conference room.

The Stamford Bridge visit further highlights the growing global connection between the Afrobeats music scene and global football culture.

Fola is a rapidly ascending Nigerian Afrobeats singer-songwriter known for his 2024 breakout hit “Alone,” his debut album Catharsis, and a 2026 Best Rising Act award win.

Signed to Dangbana Republik, his music blends energetic Afrobeats with soulful, melodic vocals.

Fola has reached significant milestones, including having songs on top Nigerian streaming charts and achieving massive stream numbers.

He has worked with established artists such as Bella Shmurda, Kizz Daniel, Young Jonn, and BNXN.

Before becoming famous in the entertainment industry, Fola worked in his father’s betting shop.

“I started making music in high school, not professionally, but I had a band I was playing with,” he said.Music & Audio

“After graduating, the challenges became more real.

“With limited opportunities in Ibadan, I decided to work at a small bet shop owned by my dad. I worked as a manager and cashier so I could save some money for myself,” he explained.
