Éric Chelle’s side booked a spot in the final of the invitational tournament following Tuesday night’s 2-0 victory over the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
The three-time African champions will face the Reggae Boys of Jamaica, who also recorded a 2-0 victory over India in the final.
The final will hold at the Valley, home ground of Sky Bet Championship club, Charlton Athletic on Saturday.
Ogbu stated that the team’s main focus now is to successfully defend their title after booking a place in the final.
“We have to keep our heads straight, keep working hard and continue doing our best because it is a privilege to play for Nigeria,” Ogbu said after the game against Zimbabwe.

“Now that we are in the final, we understand what we need to do. We will recover and prepare well because the reason we came here is to win and retain the title.”
Ogbu played a pivotal role in the Super Eagles’ victory over Zimbabwe, building a strong understanding in central defence with Trabzonspor defender Chibuike.
The Warriors failed to register a shot on target in the opening half, and only tested goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo for the first time in the 70th minute.
Ogbu stated that the Super Eagles delivered a disciplined and efficient performance against Kaitano Tembo’s side.
“It was a very tough game, especially in the second half, but we thank God for the victory. It was not easy at all,” added Ogbuh.
“It went well in the end. The boys did well, they pushed hard, and now we have to enjoy the win and focus on the next game.”
