Morocco captain Achraf Hakimi has been named in Flashscore’s highest rated Ligue 1 XI of World Cup bound players after averaging 7.16 during another title winning season with Paris Saint Germain.
The PSG right back was listed alongside several teammates in a team dominated by the French champions, including Vitinha, who led the ranking with a 7.65 rating, Ousmane Dembélé at 7.46, Nuno Mendes at 7.40, João Neves at 7.15 and Bradley Barcola at 7.08.
The selection adds another marker to Hakimi’s season before the 2026 World Cup, where Morocco will look to build on its 2022 semifinal run.
The 27 year old remains one of the national team’s most experienced players and one of PSG’s main outlets on the right flank.
Hakimi’s place in the ranking reflects his consistency in Luis Enrique’s side, where his role combines defensive coverage with repeated attacking runs, crossing and combination play in wide areas.
PSG won the Ligue 1 title for a fifth straight season and retained the Champions League, giving Hakimi another major club season before joining Morocco’s World Cup campaign.
