Inter are working on their future defence with reports of imminent deals for Sassuolo’s Tarek Muharemovic and Udinese player Oumar Solet.
The Nerazzurri have just won the Scudetto and this evening will attempt to complete The Double in the Coppa Italia Final with Lazio.
Meanwhile, they are preparing for next season and President Beppe Marotta is hard at work finding replacements for Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij.
According to Cronache di Spogliatoio, they have agreed personal terms with Udinese defender Solet, who for some time has been on their radar.
They still need to shake hands with his club on a transfer fee, and that won’t be easy, as the 26-year-old is attracting plenty of interest from the likes of Milan, Juventus and Newcastle United.
Sportitalia have long reported that while he is open to other options, Solet would give the priority to Inter this summer.
The asking price is expected to be around €25m.
Meanwhile, transfer pundit Nicolò Schira also claims that Inter have agreed personal terms with Sassuolo defender Muharemovic, for a contract to June 2031 worth €2.2m per season.
They might be able to swing a deal with Sassuolo for a loan with obligation to buy in February 2027, which is effectively just delaying the payment.
It is the kind of agreement the Neroverdi have done before, as they are a financially stable club who can afford to wait.
Juventus are still owed 50 per cent of any Muharemovic fee after the sale from their youth team, but that makes them favourites to potentially recall the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.
