Milan are set to announce the appointment of Ruben Amorim as their new coach, as the Portuguese has signed a two-year contract with the Rossoneri.
Former Manchester United boss Amorim has signed his contract with Milan, according to Italian sources, including Gazzetta.
The Portuguese hasn’t physically arrived in Milan, so he signed the documents remotely.
He has signed a two-year contract until June 2028 with an option for a further campaign.
Amorim will earn €3.5m per season at San Siro with a further €500,000 bonus if he leads Milan to Champions League qualification.
Milan have also reached an agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt director Markus Krösche, who has backed Amorim’s appointment.
The Rossoneri, however, have yet to reach an agreement with the German club but are confident that both Krösche and Timmo Hardung, Milan’s designated sporting director, will leave Eintracht in the coming days.
Milan sacked their coach, Massimiliano Allegri, and their prominent executives, Geoffrey Moncada, Igli Tare, and Giorgio Furlani, after finishing fifth in the 2025-26 campaign and failing to qualify for the Champions League.
