Sources: Celtic ready to move for 'cut-price' Ivan Basic deal amid World Cup worry

Celtic are lining up a move to sign Astana midfielder Ivan Basic this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

The Hoops have been "keeping tabs" on the 24-year-old in recent months, and he is seen as someone who "fits the bill" for Martin O'Neill.

Basic will be available on a "cut-price" fee, as he has just six months remaining on his current contract, and Astana are prepared to sanction a summer exit.
