Everton have registered interest their in signing Arsenal right-back Ben White, sources have told Football Insider.
The Gunners are yet to decide whether to let the 28-year-old depart this summer transfer window.
However, Arsenal are in the market for a new full-back, which could directly affect White’s future at the Emirates.
Everton are set to face competition for the England international’s signature, with Crystal Palace also keen on the defender.
Football Insider first revealed the Toffees’ interest in White back in March, and now the club could make him the first new face at the Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
White struggled for Premier League minutes in the 2025-26 campaign as he made just 12 appearances and was often benched in favour of other options.
Despite White’s lack of minutes in the 2025-26 season, the defender still managed to register some superb stats when he did get a chance to show his quality.
According to Fotmob on 24 June, the right-back was averaging 0.13 assists, 1.02 chances created, a 75 per cent dribble success rate, 1.53 aerial duels won, 1.92 tackles, 0.51 blocked shots and 1.15 interceptions per 90 minutes in the Premier League.
Therefore, everything points towards White being a success for the Toffees if they are able to complete the signing.
However, it remains to be seen if they are able to beat Palace to his signature if Arsenal are willing to sanction a sale this summer.
Football Insider has exclusively revealed that Monaco are open to selling star striker Folarin Balogun to Everton this summer.
The US international has heavily impressed at the 2026 World Cup, and the Toffees could reignite their interest this summer transfer window.
However, the Ligue 1 club are only happy to let the 24-year-old go if they receive a sizeable fee for his services, which could disrupt the Merseysider’s transfer plans.
It is currently unclear if Everton are willing to meet these demands as they look to end their attacking woes.
David Moyes is keen to upgrade his attacking options this summer as the club looks to finally return to Europe in the 2026-27 campaign.
