Nigeria’s Flamingos will resume camping on Sunday as preparations intensify for their final-round qualifying fixture against Benin Republic in the race for a place at the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, Completesports.com reports.
The team will be camped at the Remo Stars Sports Institute in Ikenne.
Akeem Busari’s side was granted a short break after securing a commanding victory over Guinea in the previous qualifying round.
The Flamingos cruised past Guinea 11-0 on aggregate, recording a 5-0 win in the first leg before sealing qualification with a 6-0 victory in the return fixture.

Benin Republic secured a place in the final qualifying round courtesy of 5-1 aggregate victory over Sierra Leone.
The Young Amazons won the first leg 3-0 at the Stade de Kegue, and won the return fixture 2-1.
Nigeria will host the first leg at the Remo Stars Sports Complex between July 3-5.
The reverse fixture will hold at the Stade de Kegue one week later.
The aggregate winner will qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco, which runs from 17 October to 7 November 2026.
