Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has declared that Galatasaray remain the best team in the Turkish Super Lig and vowed that the club will return stronger in the UEFA Champions League next season.
The Nigeria international enjoyed another outstanding campaign with the Yellow-Reds following his permanent move from Napoli in the summer of 2025.
Osimhen played a pivotal role in Galatasaray's European campaign, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in ten appearances as the Turkish giants progressed to the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League before suffering elimination at the hands of Liverpool.
Despite the disappointment of their European exit, the 27-year-old remains optimistic about the club's prospects and believes they can achieve greater success on the continental stage next season.
In quotes relayed by Turkish outlet Fanatik, Osimhen highlighted the club's efforts in raising the profile of Turkish football around the world.
"We have been promoting the Turkish League to the world for years. We are making both the country and the league noticeable," Osimhen said.
"Next season we will be even better and represent Galatasaray even better. We are the best. We have said this many times."
While expressing the squad's determination to surpass their achievements next season, Osimhen also paid tribute to the fans for their unwavering support and passionate backing throughout the campaign.
"And we will come back with the same hunger next season. I miss my team and my fans very much. The best atmosphere in the world is in our stadium. You can come and see it. Everyone says so," he noted.
His remarkable performances throughout the campaign also played a crucial role in helping Galatasaray retain their Super Lig crown despite intense competition from fierce rivals Fenerbahçe.
