Monday’s reports confirm that Milan have a full agreement in place with Ruben Amorim to take over as the club’s new coach, and it appears that the former Manchester United and Sporting CP tactician will be in Italy within the coming days to put his signature on his contract.
According to reports from various outlets on Monday, Amorim is set to take over from Massimiliano Allegri as head coach of Milan on an initial two-year contract with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
Amorim is reportedly set to earn a guaranteed salary of €3.5m per season in San Siro.
A deal has progressed quickly, and according to the latest updates from Sky Sport Italia, the coach is expected to fly to Italy within the next few hours in order to complete his move. It is likely that he will be in Milan by Tuesday and that he will have signed off on his contract by the end of tomorrow.
