Bayern Munich are expected to announce the signing of Morocco midfielder Ismael Saibari in July after he successfully completed a medical, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported.
Romano said Saibari underwent the tests three days ago at Morocco’s World Cup camp in the United States and encountered no problems.
The German champions have reached agreements with both the 25-year-old and his Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, according to the report. Bayern are expected to formalize the transfer after Saibari completes his World Cup campaign with Morocco.
Saibari declined to comment on the possible move after scoring again for the Atlas Lions on Friday.
The transfer would mark a major step in his career following his rise at PSV, where his physical strength, attacking ability and versatility established him as one of Morocco’s leading players in the Dutch league.
