Turkish Süper Lig giants Besiktas have reportedly identified Fiorentina midfielder Rolando Mandragora as a potential replacement for Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi amid growing uncertainty surrounding the Nigerian's future at the club.
Ndidi, who joined the Black and Whites from Leicester City, has been the subject of increasing transfer speculation ahead of the 2026/2027 season, with several clubs from the Saudi Pro League reportedly monitoring his situation.
Despite his relatively short spell at the club, the experienced midfielder delivered a series of impressive performances and quickly emerged as one of the team's key leaders in the dressing room.
However, interest from Saudi Arabia has raised concerns within the club hierarchy, prompting the management to begin exploring alternative options should the Nigerian decide to pursue a move away from Istanbul this summer.
According to reports from Turkish outlet Turkiye Gazetesi, Besiktas have turned their attention to Fiorentina's Rolando Mandragora as a possible successor to Ndidi.
The report claims that Besiktas manager Vincenzo Italiano has personally recommended the Italian midfielder, having previously worked with him and being familiar with his qualities.
Besiktas are said to have already initiated contact with Fiorentina to gather information regarding Mandragora's contractual situation and the conditions required to facilitate a transfer.
The Serie A side are reportedly open to negotiations but have placed a valuation of approximately €10 million on the midfielder.
While no formal offer has been submitted at this stage, discussions between the two clubs are expected to intensify in the coming days.
