After the end of a fixture where a win was important for both Bafana Bafana and Czech Republic, you would be forgiven for thinking the two coaches were not talking about the same game at the press conference.
South Africa bravely fought their way back into the game after conceding inside the opening five minutes, as the tie ended 1-1 at the Atlanta Stadium on Thursday.

Post-match, Bafana coach Hugo Broos praised his charges for showing resilience to claw their way back and earn what could prove to be a precious point.
“…I saw a very, very good game. During the second half, we were constantly in the Czechs, and the only thing they did was play long balls to their tall strikers in front,” he assessed.
Asked for his take on the Belgian’s comments, his opposite number, Miroslav Koubek, saw things differently.
"That ‌is his opinion. He may have such an opinion, but my opinion is different," he offered.
"I agree that the first half was better. We played better in the first half, but I do not agree that South Africa had many chances. I did not see these chances.
"Sometimes there might have been the impression that our opponent was better because they were on the ball, but they did not have that many chances as we did," Koubek went on.

With Mexico having confirmed qualification into the next round with a 1-0 win over South Korea 1-0, all three of the other teams in Group A will only know their fate come the final matchday.
Bottom-placed Bafana face South Korea, who have three points, while Mexico will battle Czech Republic, who, just like Broos' men, have one point next to their name. Both matches will take place on Thursday (03:00 SA time).
