A meeting between Juventus directors and Dusan Vlahovic took place this morning, but the striker’s future in Turin remains uncertain, as reports in Italy claim that Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Newcastle and Barcelona have recently sounded out his availability.
Juventus and Vlahovic’s father, Milos, met on Wednesday morning for a crucial discussion over the striker’s contract extension, according to Sky Sport and Gazzetta.
Vlahovic has entered the final month of his contract at the Allianz Stadium. The meeting took place at the club’s headquarters this morning.
Gazzetta confirms that Juventus offered the Serbia international a €6m-a-year deal until 2027 or 2028.
It’s unlikely that the Bianconeri will persuade Vlahovic to extend his stay at the club as the striker’s minimum request is €8m per season.
However, the Serie A giants still made a final attempt today, knowing that the 26-year-old hasn’t yet received formal offers from other clubs.
According to Gazzetta and Sky, Juventus now expect a final decision from their star striker. This means the two parties will either shake hands or split after today’s meeting.
Vlahovic has attracted interest from several clubs in Europe, but has received no formal offers yet, according to reports.
Gazzetta claims that Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Newcastle and Barcelona have recently resumed talks with his entourage but have yet to make a proposal.
Therefore, Vlahovic will have to choose between extending with Juventus today or saying goodbye to the Old Lady, waiting for a potential offer from another club.
Gazzetta confirms that Randal Kolo Muani, who will return to PSG from Tottenham, is the Bianconeri’s priority target if Vlahovic decides against signing a new deal at the Allianz Stadium.
Update: No agreement between Juventus and Vlahovic; the striker is set to leave at the end of the month!
