Cape Town-born star Lyle Lakay has revealed that at his former club Mamelodi Sundowns, players were required to have their own tablet to analyse and review their individual performances.
Fresh off a decent campaign with Siwelele FC, Lakay exclusively spoke to KickOff after attending a football analyst workshop hosted by Football Insights.
The full-back made it clear that attending the workshop should not be seen as an indication that he is retiring, but rather that he attended the course to help improve his analytical knowledge, something he insists will benefit his playing career.
Interestingly, he also revealed that analysing the game is something he has been doing since his time at Chloorkop, where players were required to have their own devices to review and analyse their performances , see the video below!
