Betway Premiership champions Orlando Pirates lead the representation with eight players in the squad, while CAF Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns have 10 players when including those on loan.

The Brazilians' contingent comprises Ronwen Williams, Ricardo Goss, Khuliso Mudau, Khulumani Ndamane, Aubrey Modiba, Teboho Mokoena, Jayden Adams, Iqraam Rayners, Themba Zwane, and Thapelo Maseko.

Defenders Olwethu Makhanya and Bradley Cross were both not involved in qualifying and will make their national team debuts if selected in either Friday's warm-up fixture against Nicaragua or at the World Cup itself.
